Leave management

Leave requests, approvals and balances in one place.

Most companies run leave on a shared calendar, a spreadsheet of balances and a chat message asking whether Friday is alright. It works until two of those three disagree.

What it does

Six things, none of which need a spreadsheet.

Requests that take ten seconds

Someone picks dates, sees the balance they will have left, and sends it. No form to download, no message in a chat that gets scrolled past.

Balances calculated, not maintained

The entitlement you set and what each person has left are the system's to keep straight, not a formula somebody has to keep alive in a spreadsheet.

Per-country entitlements and public holidays

A team split across countries gets the right allowance and the right public holidays for each one, without a second system for the second country.

Approval routing and thresholds

One approver, or a chain of them past a length you set. A three-day request and a three-week request do not have to go the same way.

Cover while an approver is away

Delegation is built in, so a manager on holiday does not become the reason nobody else can take one.

A record of who decided what

Approvals and admin changes land in an append-only audit log: who did what, when, to whom. Useful long after anyone remembers the conversation.

Where leave usually breaks

The balance is the hard part.

Requests are easy. What goes wrong is everything underneath them: a second country with different public holidays, an entitlement nobody has updated since last year, and an approval that happened in a chat thread nobody else can see.

Entitlements and public holidays are set per country. The person asking sees the balance they will have left before they send the request. The person approving sees it in the same queue as everything else waiting on them, and the decision lands in the audit log.

Questions

The ones people ask about leave.

Is leave management actually free?
Yes, on the Free plan for up to 10 people: requests, approvals, balances, per-country entitlements, public holidays, multi-step approval routing and delegation. No credit card, and no trial clock on it.
Does it handle a team in more than one country?
Entitlements and public holidays are set per country, so a team split across two or three of them gets the right allowance and the right days off in each without a second system.
What about sick leave and doctor's certificates?
Multiple leave types, sickness, certificates and return-to-work are on Starter, at €5 per person per month. The Free plan covers ordinary annual leave.
Can people request leave without logging in to another tool?
Requests and approvals reach people where they already are: the queue in the app, email notification, and Slack on Pro. Everything that needs a decision from you is in one queue rather than in five places.
Can we import the balances we already have?
Yes. A CSV with one row per person is what the people import reads, up to 500 rows a file, previewed before anything is written. If your records are messier than that, we will load them with you.

Try it with your own team's leave.

Start free with up to 10 people, import your balances and see whether it fits before you pay for anything.
